The Fire Stones
Commonly referred to as Fire Stones, these stones are all not attached to the element of fire. They be so called for their origin, which is Fire Mountaines. The truest and most descriptive name they can have is The Superlative Stones. There are many stones found in and near and spewed forth from with Fire Mountaines, some of interest only in the philosophical studies of Earthe and the world around us all. Others have physical propertyes, or some slight thaumaturgical properties, and still others, the Superlative Stones, they have more beyond even theses.
Stone of Song
A clay and crystal structure that when split (whichsoever is of extreme difficulty) the rock pieces sing sharply. This stone is rare and is used to project sound, to increase its bounty, and to sharpen sound so that other stones will split and shatter unto duste.
Stone of Strength
It is mistaken for iron, yet it is not, although iron and very hard clay-like material melde together inside. This stone can increases and multiply physical and thaumaturgical strength.
Cupboard Stone
A simple name deceives the reader into believing this is a common and unimportante rock. Yet this stone is very rare, and very powerful. It can only be split with the XXXX () gem, and if one has skill in magick flowing, the stone can be shaped. Its true property, chiefest, is to abosrb and store. In sublight it will become as hot as boiling water and will hold that heat until handfuls of days have passed. Magick can be stored as power inside this dull, charcoal grey rock.
Anchor Stone
There is a degree of lead inside this stone, but it is not simply of great weight, no matter how smalle the piece, it can be placed and with the proper spell, will remain in place as well as whatever is connected to it, as if it were a mountaine of solide rock.
Stone of Light
Often it is mistook for a large gem. It has a variety of colour, and has been found in clear crystal, greene, red, deep violet, and many other colours. It gives off light, from a small glow to as much as the day.
Fire Gems
These gemstones are found in Fire Mountaines and be also known as Superlative Gems. They look as if they are common gemtones, in many colours and sizes and shapes. Yet they are often small, and often of a purity beyond common gems.
Almadinite
It is often left behind as being the same look as a simple, cloudy grey crystal. Once power of magick has flowed through it, however, this gem turns to such a darke and yet vibrant red it pales rubies when compared. Light is made sharper with it, as it power and magick. Holding this gemstone, one's will and magick are increased by intensity, and honed to a fine point.
Goshinite
A marble yet not looking gem, it holds the power to fade the holder and shield them as if they melted into the air. It affects the minds of those around it, and does not make the holder truly vanish.
Larminar
A cloudy and swirly gem. The holder moves without sound. Used with a spell, it can mask and herd sound, wither for keeping prying ears deaf, or to move sound from one place to another.
Spessarlite
A brown and vibrant almost blood yet very autumn leaf colour, it is a crystal that can send heat and fire in curtains. If used by a skilled worker of magick, it can send fingers of heat like snakes.
Bodalite
A blue and speckled stone, the holder can pull and push air. With skill and practice, the air can be thinned so there is none, or packed tight until it is as iron.
